The Climate Project: Answer the Call 2007

A live slideshow based upon Al Gore's Inconvenient Truth

The release of the most recent Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report has reinforced the fact that global warming is real, its impacts can already be seen, and action needs to be taken now to confront the climate crisis.

This presentation reviews the science behind climate change and explores the impacts of rapidly rising atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations. The presentation relates observable climactic events, like retreating glaciers, heat waves, hurricane activity, and species loss, to longer-term impacts like sea level rise. The presentation discusses how human activity is the cause of climate change and how it will also have to be the solution.
